Packages and Ticketing

No, you do not need to be a Member/Friend of the Opera House to attend shows.  You can purchase individual tickets to any show at any time!

No, you can purchase individual tickets to all of our shows.  The 5-Show or 10-Show Packages are discounted options offered for those patrons who would like to attend multiple Subscription Series Shows.

Our 5- and 10-Show Packages are for Subscription Series Shows only.  You can view those HERE.

A La Carte Shows must be purchased individually, but you can pay for them at the same time you pay for your package if you would like to add them onto your order.  You can view our upcoming A La Carte shows HERE.

Our goal is to have most of our Summer Series be Free Will Donation only!  Sometimes, the Summer Series shows will be held at the Opera House and you can call and reserve your seats ahead of time for those events.  Locations will be listed in the event descriptions.  You can view our upcoming Summer Series HERE.

Civic Summer Theatre and Children’s Theatre will be ticketed separately from our other Summer Series events.  Keep an eye out here on the website or on our Facebook Page for updates on sale dates and prices.


Tickets are nonrefundable. Patrons may exchange tickets for a gift certificate if requested at least 72 hours prior to performance. Subscription ticket holders may exchange the value of their ticket for another event, with no exchange fee, if requested at least 24 hours prior to performance.

In the case of inclement weather, most shows will go on as scheduled. The Fairmont Opera House encourages patrons to make the right choices for your circumstances, understanding that ticket purchases are nonrefundable, and may only be exchanged subject to the Fairmont Opera House’s regular exchange policies. In the extremely rare occurrence of a show’s cancellation, patrons will be alerted via email, social media, local radio, and the Fairmont Opera House website.

We always support our patrons when it comes to their safety.  If you were unable to make the show at the last minute due to severe weather, please contact us within 24 hours (leave a message if needed) and we would be happy to follow up with you and exchange your ticket for another show or a gift certificate of equal value to your tickets.
