Refunds and Exchanges

Tickets are nonrefundable. Patrons may exchange tickets for a gift certificate if requested at least 72 hours prior to performance. 

Inclement Weather

In the case of inclement weather, most shows will go on as scheduled. The Fairmont Opera House encourages patrons to make the right choices for your circumstances, understanding that ticket purchases are nonrefundable, and may only be exchanged subject to the Fairmont Opera House’s regular exchange policies. In the extremely rare occurrence of a show’s cancellation, patrons will be alerted via email, social media, local radio, and the Fairmont Opera House website.

Schedule, prices, times, artists and titles are subject to change or cancellation.


Free delivery options include in-person purchases, will call, and print at home.

Third Party Sellers

Please only purchase tickets from the Fairmont Opera House box office or the online portal accessed through this website. If you purchase tickets from a third party, we cannot guarantee authenticity.


Reserved seating begins 30 minutes prior to curtain. As a courtesy to audience members and performers, latecomers will be seated during appropriate breaks and at the sole discretion of theatre staff.

Electronic Devices

Patrons are asked to silence or turn off electronic devices during performances.


Flash photography, audio, and video recording are prohibited.

Food and Beverage

Beverages purchased at the Fairmont Opera House bars are allowed in the theatre. Outside food and beverages are prohibited.  No glass is allowed in the theatre. 

Age Appropriateness

It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to research and judge the content of a performance as appropriate for their child’s age and level of maturity. There is no official rating system for live performances.


Any person who disturbs the performance or another patron will be asked to leave the theatre without a refund.
